Handpainted Yarn
Here we have a collection of 8 ply and 12 ply millspun yarn it is 100% wool in 100 grams skeins unless otherwise stated.
8 ply
The needles recommended are 4mm, tension is 22st/10cm.
12 ply
The needles recommended are 6mm, tension is 16.5sts/10cm
You will also find some very lovely wool/silk yarns that the photo just doesn't do justice to, they are so soft.
As with all handpainted items they are unique and therefore even in the same colourway there maybe some variation. I recommend that if knitting a large item you knit from two different skeins, ie 2 rows of one then 2 rows of the other.
